Bimaxillary osteotomy
Field Medicine
Also known as bimax, double-jaw surgery, LeFort I + BSSO

A bimaxillary osteotomy ("bimax") moves upper jaw (LeFort I) and lower jaw (bilateral sagittal split, BSSO) to treat bite, airway, and sometimes aesthetics. Looksmaxxing calls large forward movements "BAX" / "imPACT" style when rotation is added. It is orthognathic surgery for a reason: orthodontics, airway, bite. Doing it "for looks only" at a mill is how people get a worse face and a worse bite.

Forum patient logs (e.g. long looksmax.org surgery diaries) describe bimax for sleep apnea with a bad aesthetic, then more implants to chase definition. That cascade is the lesson: bone surgery is not a filter.

This wiki does not instruct osteotomies.
