The PSL scale is a harsh attractiveness rating used on looksmaxxing forums. PSL is an acronym of the three boards that birthed the dialect — PUAHate, SlutHate, Lookism.net — the PSL forums (Wikipedia also records a folk etymology “Perceived Sexual Levels”).[1] It is a forum convention, not a clinical instrument. Apps that sell a “PSL score” from one selfie are selling a template match, not a lab result.
Scales in the wild disagree: some threads run 1–8, some 1–10. A 5 on PSL is not a civilian “5/10.” The same boards then invent looksmatch by subtracting two numbers.
This wiki may mention a PSL number as how the community talks. It does not rank living people on the Main Page. See PSL god for the holy-grail label (Sean O'Pry and kin).
