Lookism.net was an English forum launched June 2015 after SlutHate downtime. It is the L in PSL forums. Tagline in the living years: aesthetics, red pill, masculinity. Subforums included Looksmaxxing, Moneymaxxing, Rate Me, and a “Shitty Advice” carry-over. Know Your Meme dates the word looksmaxxing to this board in 2015 (Looksmaxxing forum category archived 3 July 2015; domain created 27 June).[1]
Founding admin went by Victory. Later years were admin war: a user Zesto is widely blamed in scene timelines for a 2019 vandalism/dox episode; the board shut and sputtered, briefly returned without him, and is treated as dead by around December 2021. Traffic had already leaked to Looksmax.org (founded 2018). A 2021 paper still counted Lookism among the large English incel-adjacent boards of 2020, with on the order of 10,000 members and millions of posts.[2]
