Softmaxxing is the looksmaxxing name for everything that does not cut bone: haircut, skin, fat, gym, teeth color, beard, glasses, clothes, sleep, photos.[1] Hardmaxxing is surgery and other irreversible medical work.
This wiki's lead is softmax first. Hardmax is described as medicine. Forum culture often skips the boring stack and argues implants. That is a failure mode, not a method. Later slang carved pieces of softmax into their own -maxxing words: gymmaxxing, scentmaxxing, auramaxxing, jestermaxxing.
