Mogwarts is a paid looksmaxxing community founded in 2023 by Kareem Shami (Syrian Psycho). The name is a Harry Potter pun on mog. It is hosted on the Skool platform. Members are called "Moggles."[1]
Structure
GQ (July 2024) reported a roughly $10 monthly fee, more than 2,000 paying members, a perpetual chat, weekly classes, monthly before/after contests, and a level system: more posting unlocks inner circles, with a promised one-on-one at the highest level. Shami told the magazine it had brought in more than $60,000 and that he expected six figures by the end of 2024.[1] Men's Health later listed $19 a month and almost 3,000 paying members.[2]
Guest lectures named by GQ included Brett Maverick and Mike Mew. Curriculum mixed cologne and sunscreen with mastic-gum jaw worksheets and orthotropics. Shami told the magazine he did not promote "the weird stuff" from looksmaxxing forums, while taking a laissez-faire line on members discussing surgery and "starvemaxxing."[1]
Reception
GQ quoted members who praised routines and friends, and a 15-year-old who said he was "completely mentally destroyed" by the optimization loop after spending over $1,200 on supplies plus subscriptions.[1] This wiki records the program as a 2020s looksmaxxing business. It is not an endorsement. See Looksmaxxing Wiki:Biographies of living persons.
