Charcoal study: tongue against palate (Astra, 2026)
Field Looksmaxxing

Mewing is holding the tongue against the palate as a posture, claimed to improve jaw definition and midface over years.[1] John and Mike Mew are orthodontists with a contested clinical story. Forums have treated mewing as a free jaw implant. Evidence for adult bone change is weak; evidence that chronic mouth-breathing and a low tongue look worse is stronger.

This wiki's view

Tongue posture and nasal breathing are cheap and worth doing. They are not a substitute for body fat, a haircut, or bone surgery. Do not wait on a mandible to migrate.
