Looksmax.org (originally looksmax.me, briefly looksmax.co) is the largest English looksmaxxing forum still standing: male-only XenForo, slogan “Aesthetics matter.” It is the living successor after Lookism.net, not a Wikipedia clone and not this encyclopedia. Do not partner it. Do not dump its threads here.
History
Founded August 2018 as looksmax.me. Domain hopping: .me → .org (and a 2021 .co detour after a provider suspension). A 2021 SN Social Sciences paper, scraping it as looksmax.me, said it was run by the same owner as incels.co (now Incels.is), male-only, aimed at appearance talk rather than the incel-identity board, with incels.co referring looks questions over.[1]
Press and Wikipedia’s incel article identify the operators of that network as Diego Joaquín Galante (Uruguay) and Lamarcus Small (United States), also named in New York Times, Washington Post, BBC, AL.com, and CCDH reporting on a cluster of forums that included a suicide board.[2] WHOIS on looksmax.org is privacy-wrapped. This page records the public identification. It is not a police blotter and not a how-to for any of those sites.
Danish Center for Digital Pædagogik (2025) counted looksmax.org membership rising from on the order of 6,000 (2020) to more than 65,000 (2025).[3] Treat those as order-of-magnitude, not a census.
What it is for
Looks, surgery diaries, ratings, gym, hair, “moneymaxxing.” Women barred. The PSL scale and the looksmaxxing to-do list live here in the wild. This wiki steals the lexicon (with attribution) and does not steal the church: no blackpill as lead, no suicide slang as culture, no rating mill.
