Tear trough filler places a thin HA in or near the tear trough. It can reduce a shadow from a hollow. Complications include Tyndall (blue), bags, and migration. Scene slang “IOM filler” means this, not an infraorbital implant. Negative orbital vector and true fat bags are why some oculoplastic surgeons prefer fat-reposition blepharoplasty to a syringe.
