The mandible is the lower jaw, the only freely moving facial bone. Looksmaxxing’s jawline is this bone plus fat, masseter, and light.

Parts

• Body — the horseshoe that carries teeth.
• Ramus — the vertical back; ramus height is a scene metric.
• Angle / gonion — where ramus meets body; gonial angle.
• Condyle — joint (TMJ).
• Coronoid process — muscle attachment, not a rating target.
• Alveolar process — teeth.
• Chin — mental protuberance; pogonion / menton in cephalometrics. See chin.

Scene talk
