Skinmaxxing is the looksmaxxing name for improving skin on purpose: sunscreen, a retinoid, acne treatment, moisture, not smoking.[1][2] It is softmaxxing applied to skin. The parent medical pages are skin clarity, sunscreen, retinoid, acne, isotretinoin.
Wikipedia files ordinary skincare under softmaxxing. This page exists so the slang word is not a red link.
Method
The stack with evidence lives on the medical pages, not here:
- Daily sunscreen
- A retinoid at night if the skin will tolerate it
- Acne treatment (adapalene, benzoyl peroxide, or a derm) when there is acne
- Stop smoking; moisturise so the retinoid is usable
That is months, not a serum drop. “Glass skin” marketing is not a protocol on this wiki.
