Pogonion is the most anterior point of the bony chin on a lateral cephalogram — the landmark used when people say “chin projection.”[1] Soft-tissue pogonion is the same idea on skin. Menton is the bottom of the chin, not the front.
Looksmaxxing “Riedel” talk is mostly “where is pogonion relative to the lips.” Bone moves with a sliding genioplasty; makeup and beard fake it. See riedel's line.
