Canthal tilt is whether the lateral canthus (outer corner) sits above (positive), level (neutral), or below (negative) the medial canthus (inner corner).[1] Draw a line through the two corners; the angle to horizontal is the tilt. Looksmaxxing treats a few degrees positive as part of hunter eyes, and negative tilt as a “sad/prey” tell.
