PCL threads (polycaprolactone) are the longer-absorbable cousin of PDO threads.[1] Korean OEM brands (BISTOOL, ELASTY PCL, and others) claim Type-III collagen and 18–24 month tissue effect. Blends (PCL/PLLA, PDO/PCL) exist so a brochure can say two polymers. Geometry still decides whether you got a hitch or a collagen stick: see cog thread vs mono thread.
