The hairline is where frontal scalp hair begins — the trichion in thirds-talk. Looksmaxxing rates height (fivehead vs low), shape (juvenile rounded vs adult M / widow’s peak vs straight), and temples. A receding temple is Norwood talk; a high stable line is just a big forehead.
Apparent size can be changed with bangs, a middle part, hair off the forehead (makes the upper third count), or a cut that piles triangle hair onto the corners. Transplant, hairline lowering, and finasteride are medicine.
