Gabriel Dridi (born c. 2000) is a Swedish internet personality who became a named example, in English- and Spanish-language newspapers, of hardmaxxing — specifically bonesmashing.[1][2] No English Wikipedia biography as of September 2026.
Claims
In a January 2026 interview with River Page for The Free Press, Dridi said he became obsessed with his looks at 13 and began YouTube facial exercises at 15 or 16. He later started hitting his face with a hammer, "one minute in each place every day," hoping for microfractures in the jaw and cheekbones. He told Page: "I got a permanent swelling. But it looked good."[1] El País repeated the quote and identified him as a popular looksmaxxing advice creator.[2]
The same interview described Maasai jumps (repeated jumping on hard ground, claimed as a height protocol) which he said hurt when he walked, and hyaluronic-acid injections into the heels to add height, which he said he regretted.[1] This encyclopedia records those as self-report. Bonesmashing remains a described injury, not a method. See Bonesmashing.
Scene tier lists (Bromaxxing, December 2025) include him among "new gen" looksmaxxers; that is notoriety, not a ranking of safety.[3]
