Buccal fat removal excises the buccal fat pad to hollow the midcheek. Looksmaxxing likes the model hollow. The fail is obvious a few years later: a gaunt, older midface, especially if you were going to get lean anyway. It is easy, fashionable, and over-indicated. Many serious facial surgeons will refuse it in already-thin men.
