Sliding genioplasty

A sliding genioplasty cuts the chin bone (mandibular symphysis) and slides it forward, back, up, or down, then plates it. Unlike a chin implant, it moves your bone. Looksmaxxing likes it for a recessed chin that an implant would make look stuck-on. Hollywood Reporter quotes Dr. Sean Alemi calling it the more aggressive "Gaston chin."
It does not widen the jaw angles. People who wanted a full "model jaw" often still need angles or a custom jawline implant. Combining genio with angle implants is common; combining everything in one sitting is how swelling and nerve injury stack.
Risks: mental-nerve numbness, step-off, malunion, ugly if over-advanced. Maxillofacial or plastic surgeon, not a filler mill.
