Also known as smile-line filler

Nasolabial fold filler is hyaluronic acid filler (sometimes other gels) placed in the crease or the pyriform aperture next to it.[1] It is often combined with cheek filler. The fold itself is described on nasolabial fold.

Overfill in the crease can read as a bulge beside the nose, especially if the cheek is still descended onto the line.

Same call as the fold page: if the crease is from descent, prefer a midface hitch (cog thread, surgical lift) over filling the crease alone. Filler here is camouflage or a small pyriform adjunct, not the first tool this encyclopedia would pick for a hanging cheek.
