HIFU
Facial muscles
Facial musculature (Commons). HIFU heats tissue; it is not a surgical SMAS dissection.
Field Medicine
Also known as Ultherapy, high-intensity focused ultrasound

HIFU (high-intensity focused ultrasound; Ultherapy is the named US device) heats SMAS or dermis to tighten.[1] Effect is typically modest. Pain, burns, and nerve injury are documented. It is not a thread lift and not a facelift.

This wiki's view

Energy is not geometry. A millimeter of brow or jowl change is not a jawline. Use it as skin/SMAS tightening if at all; hitch or surgery for descent.
