Infraorbital / infraorbital-malar (IOM) implants augment the rim under the eye and often the cheek in one custom piece. Looksmaxxing wants them for "hunter eyes" and midface support. Placement is often through a lower-lid incision. That is why lid retraction shows up in revision stories: the eyelid is not a free lunch.
Eppley publishes IOM + jawline combinations after double-jaw surgery. Forum diaries describe lid-retraction repair, spacer grafts, and taking implants out. If a consult skips the eyelid risk, it is not a serious consult.
