Hair density
Field Hair
Also known as caliber, thickness, miniaturization

Hair density is follicles per square centimetre. Caliber (thickness) is how fat each shaft is. Looksmaxxing mixes them: a head can be dense-but-fine (see-through in sun) or sparse-but-coarse. Miniaturization (DHT) is caliber collapsing before the follicle is gone — that is Norwood / finasteride / minoxidil territory.

Koray Erdoğan’s “coverage value” talk is density × caliber, which is why graft-count bragging is not the same as a convincing hairline.
