Mog (verb) is to look better than someone next to you so they look worse by comparison.[1] To be mogged is to lose that comparison. The word comes from pickup "AMOG" (alpha male of the group) via looksmaxxing forums. It is slang for a real social fact (contrast effects). It is not a moral ranking.
Mogging as a gerund is the same comparison in progress. Frame mogging is winning it with shoulders and height rather than a face close-up.[2]
