David Laid (born 29 January 1998) is an Estonian-American fitness influencer, YouTuber, and fitness model.[1] He is not a Kick looksmaxxing streamer in the Clavicular sense. 2026 ranking boards still file him under "Looksmaxxer" because his teenage transformation videos are the template the later scene copied: skinny kid to weights to an aesthetic physique on camera.
Life and career
Laid was born in Estonia; his mother Nino had immigrated from Russia. After his father died when Laid was two, they moved to the United States.[1] He started lifting at 14. A first YouTube transformation (18 months) went up in December 2013; a second (ages 14–17), in August 2015, became the famous one.[1] Gymshark named him creative director of lifting in 2023.[1]
Around 2019 he was associated as a trainee of coach Elliott Atwell, later sentenced (2025) to 20 years in federal prison for sexual exploitation of underage training clients. That is in the Wikipedia biography; it is not a looksmaxxing method.[1]
