Chin filler projects pogonion with a bolus of stiff filler.[1] It can add projection on a mildly weak chin in photos. It cannot rotate a mandible, lengthen a ramus, or replace sliding genioplasty. Excess bolus can ball at pogonion and leave a deep labiomental crease.

A preview or a small projection add. If the chin is the actual bone problem, genioplasty. Pair with jawline filler only as contour, not as a wraparound implant.
