PDO (polydioxanone) is the workhorse absorbable polymer in modern thread lifts.[1] It is an old surgical suture. Aesthetic PDO hydrolyzes over roughly 6–8 months; collagen talk continues after the filament is gone. Korea is where the cog/mono/screw catalogue was industrialized (MINT, Lead Fine Lift, Princess PDO, and a long OEM list). Shapes are separate pages: mono thread, cog thread, screw thread.
