Vascular occlusion
Field Medicine
Also known as VO, intravascular filler, filler blindness

A vascular occlusion is filler (usually HA) in an artery or compressing one.[1] Skin blanches, livedo, pain out of proportion; worst case is tissue death or blindness (ophthalmic / retinal pathway — glabella, nose, pyriform, temple). This is why “liquid rhino” and amateur tear troughs are not softmaxxing.

Response is clinic protocol: stop, hyaluronidase flooding if HA, aspirin per protocol, not a warm compress TikTok. This wiki describes the risk so the word means something. It is not a first-aid manual.
