Origin Looksmaxxing slang

Hunter eyes is forum slang for a periorbital bundle: deep-set globe, neutral-to-positive canthal tilt, low brow close to the supraorbital rim, compact almond palpebral fissure, and little upper eyelid exposure.[1] The antonym on the same boards is prey eyes. It is not zoology.

The bony part is orbit depth and brow ridge. The lid part is tendons, skin, and fat. Lighting, squint, and “look down into the camera” fake a little. Rubbing the orbital rim does not remodel the socket. Surgery, if any, is oculoplastic or craniofacial — and lid retraction after bad rim work is in surgical pitfalls.
