Calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) filler — Radiesse is the name people say — is microspheres in a carrier gel.[1] It gives immediate volume and some biostimulation. It is not HA. Hyaluronidase will not melt it. Dilute CaHA is sold as a skin-quality hyperdilute; neat CaHA is sold as a jawline stick.
Neat CaHA is used as a stiff jawline contour. Nodules are a complication class. Hyaluronidase will not reverse it. See jawline filler and surgical pitfalls.
This wiki's view
A stiffer, non-dissolvable contour than HA. That is a feature until you want undo. For a permanent angle, an implant consult over stacking CaHA.
