The infraorbital rim is the lower bony lip of the orbit (mostly maxilla + zygomatic).[1] Looksmaxxing “infraorbital support” means this rim is forward enough that the lower lid does not hang and the tear trough is not a trench. Recession here is the bony half of dark circles; the other half is fat, pigment, and thin skin.
Infraorbital implants and fat grafting are medicine. Lower-lid incisions to place them are how some diaries get lid retraction. See surgical pitfalls and orbital vector.
