Origin Barber / looksmaxxing slang

Triangle hair is barber and looksmaxxing slang for hair that falls as an inverted triangle on the front view: mass at the two upper corners, narrower toward the chin/crown line.[1] Usually a middle part plus enough length and density at the temples. It is a drape, not a bone.

It can shrink an apparent forehead and add width where the skull is narrow. It fails when temples are miniaturizing (Norwood scale) — the triangle becomes two sad wisps — or when the cut is all corners and no crown (mushroom). Fix is a haircut that puts weight where the line still exists, not a bigger triangle.
