A haircut is length, line, and how hair falls on the hairline.[1] It changes how much forehead, temple, and jaw show. A cut that fights the line (comb-over on NW3, a skin fade on a round head that needed weight, a middle part on empty temples) makes the problem more visible.
Terms: triangle hair, flow, curtains, taper vs fade, weight, connection — see hair drape.
