Bizygomatic width is the distance between the most lateral points of the zygomatic bones (zygion–zygion).[1] It is the usual numerator of facial width-to-height ratio and the “how wide is the face” number. Fat and camera distortion lie; a CT does not.

Lighting and facial fat change how wide zygos read. The bone is the zygomatic bone and arch. See facial width-to-height ratio and cheekbones.
